Swiss luxury watchmaker and jeweller Piaget showcased its latest collection, inspired by two of the greatest cities along the Silk Road, in Taiwan.
The collection, entitled “Secrets & Lights – A Mythical Journey by Piaget,” comprises 93 pieces of jewellery and 38 wristwatches, Ltn.com.tw reported.
The collection has two themes – “Secrets of Venice” and “Lights of Samarkand.”
A great variety of coloured gemstones including aquamarines, tourmalines, red spinels, diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds, as well as special techniques like cloisonné enamel and eggshell-inlaid lacquer, were used in the collection to recreate the breathtaking beauty of the cities.
The exhibition is touring around Piaget’s boutiques in Taipei, until May 6.
