Mumbai: Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her mother Jaya walked the ramp in beautiful bridal wear for celebrated Indian designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The designer duo put up their latest collection titled ‘Breakthrough’.
The two Bachchan ladies stepped it up in beautiful ensembles that had a mix of modern and traditional designs. This fashion show was set up as part of a global human rights organisation that works to eliminate violence against women and the girl child. The Indian Ministry of Women and Child Development adopted this initiative under the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign.
A number of leading women across different fields of art, business and fashion took to the ramp to showcase a few creations by renowned designers. The newly single Sussanne Khan also stepped it up in style in a beautiful golden ensemble. Sussanne, who has gone on to win several awards for her interior designing projects, has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. Reports recently stated that she was all set to tie the knot again with former hubby Hrithik Roshan’s best friend Arjun Rampal. She later lashed out at those reports and said they were all baseless rumours.
