Chinese jewellery art brand HMR recently showcased its products at the Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week.
It was the first mainland Chinese brand to display its products in a China Fashion Week,People.com.cn reported.
HMR’s catwalk show, entitled “Transcending Time & Space,” showed off dozens of artistic jewels inspired by classical Chinese poetry, philosophy and folklore. The pieces were produced using state-of-the-art Western craftsmanship.
The 18-karat gold jewels are adorned with jadeite, coral and pearls – materials associated with traditional Chinese jewellery – as well as diamonds, the report said.
HMR earlier showcased its collection in exhibitions held in Beijing and London. Its next stop is New York.
The Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week (A/W 2016 Collection) kicked off in Beijing on March 25. The China Fashion Week is an international fashion event held twice a year at various venues in Beijing.
