Dunnes stores has launched its own range of clothing for children with special needs.
The products cater for children from three to 14 and include long and short sleeved sleepsuits and bodysuits and bibs .
The retailer’s online exclusive range follows the launch of similar products from Marks and Spencer earlier this year.
M&S created its items in response to a customer’s request for bodysuits, sleepsuits and vests with poppers to be made for older children.
Mum Zoe Hardcastle was struggling to get clothing to cater for her three-year-old disabled son Caleb who needs to wear a nappy and use a feeding tube daily
After feedback from customers, the company later decided to extend the range and offer items to fit older children up to the age of 16.
The Dunnes range comes in white, pink and blue with short sleeved bodysuits £4 to £5, long sleeved sleepsuits £8 and short sleeved sleepsuits £7 to £8.
The bibs, in pink or blue, cost £5 for a pack of two .
The range is available online only with standard delivery to the UK costing £3.95.
