DJI has launched a summer sale with discounts and free accessories across its consumer product line.
DJI hasn’t launched a new product in the 3 months since news of the Spark broke: basically a drought when it comes to the Chinese manufacturer. If you’re eagerly anticipating the Mavic Pro 2 or the Phantom 5, we’ve got nothing yet. But if you’re willing to hold out and get by with a few deals on accessories and older models, DJI might have a deal for you.
DJI Summer Sale: The Accessories
Most of the deals in the DJI Summer Sale so far are on accessories. To be more specific, most of the deals are more accessories thrown in when you buy a DJI drone before September.
For example, if you buy a DJI Spark, a Mavic Pro or an Osmo Mobile, you can get discounts on the OnePlus backpack or the OnePlus 5 camera.
If you’re considering buying a Spark or a Mavic Pro in time for a last-minute summer trip, DJI is throwing in free skins and even a branded T-shirt for free. With the Mavic you can get skins and a free landing pad.
Now might also be a good time to get Phantom 4 Pro, which will come with free prop guards, 2 prop sets and a landing pad.
Wait a little longer for the best offers
It looks like the most interesting offers – perhaps discounts across the Phantom range and more – are coming on August 22nd. There is also going to be a student discount on the Spark offered on the same day, so keep an eye out for developments on the DJI sales page.
Alternatively, if you’re thinking about buying a DJI drone, you could do worse than wait a few months longer. Who knows what product announcements the company will have in store for Christmas. It’s a matter of time before the Phantom 4 range and the Mavic Pro see significant price drops, as DJI is unafraid of cannibalizing its own products. The question is: Are you patient enough?
