A baby toy from the popular Lamaze brand has been recalled amid safety fears.
Manufactured by toy giant TOMY, the Lamaze Munching Max Chipmunk Toy, has been pulled over fears ‘an internal part could break and create a sharp point’.
The product recall notice for the dangling pram toy says the toy was sold at major toy stores and online from May 2016 through to April this year.
It has the item number L27578, which can be found on the sewn in label near the tail. The toy is green and blue with a white clip.
The notice states: “Hazard: An internal part could break and create a sharp point that penetrates the surface of the toy.”
Anyone with the toy is being told to ‘immediately’ take it away from children and to contact the TOMY Careline to fill in a form online, or call 01271 336155, for details of how to get a refund.
