The September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, the world’s No. 1 fine jewellery event, will gather more than 3,750 jewellery, gemstone and other industry-related companies from 50 countries and regions, trade show organiser UBM Asia announced.
Manufacturers and suppliers of raw materials including polished diamonds, gemstones, pearls, equipment and packaging products will showcase their goods at the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) from September 13 to 17, while jewellers, including some of the leading brands in the industry, will display their finished jewellery collections at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from September 15 to 19.
The fair will feature 23 group pavilions spread across 135,000 square metres of exhibition space. The B2B show is known for hosting the world’s largest Diamond Pavilion, Asia’s biggest gemstone marketplace and the biggest display of jewellery collections by Hong Kong brands and manufacturers.
Returning after a successful debut last year is the Bridal Jewellery Pavilion in Hall 3E Concourse of the HKCEC, where buyers can browse through an extensive selection of one-of-a-kind bridal masterpieces and classic collections.
Also scheduled during the September Hong Kong Fair are Alrosa’s diamond auction, and two world-renowned pearl auctions – the 68th Robert Wan Tahiti Perles Auction and the 59th Paspaley Pearl Auction. On September 14, the fifth annual JNA Awards will hold its awards ceremony and gala dinner at the InterContinental Hong Kong.
The fair also features perennial favourites, including the Fine Gem Pavilion, Fine Design Pavilion, Hong Kong Premier Pavilion, International Premier Pavilion, Hong Kong Pavilion, Designer Arena and Fei Cui Gallery.
Held concurrently with the jewellery show is Asia’s Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair – September, which is scheduled for September 13 to 16 at AWE.
