Diana Vreeland Vivaciously Bold

In February 1969, as the editor in chief of Vogue, Diana Vreeland wrote in a four-page memo on perfume: “I think men’s scents are wonderful for women … they have such character and are so marvelously clean.” Almost 50 years later, her sentiments have inspired this fresh, tomboyish scent with notes of earthy vetiver (traditionally a masculine note) and a mix of three citruses, including bergamot.

Malin + Goetz Bergamot EDT

The brand often uses bergamot in its products for its serene, spalike aroma. And in its newly released unisex fragrance — created exclusively for the new Barneys Chelsea location — the brightness of bergamot is countered with spicy cardamom, ginger and black pepper.

Atelier Cologne Bergamote Soleil

The latest addition to the brand’s Cologne Absolue line, a series of highly concentrated citruses, was inspired by youthful adventures in Italy. Bergamot sourced from Calabria is blended with soft yet equally light lavender from Provence and oak moss from Slovenia.

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Forte

A new twist on the classic 2011 fragrance Neroli Portofino, this intensification aims to transport the wearer to a leisurely boat ride off the coast of Italy. Wood and leather are perked up with verdant notes of citrus and basil.
