Kylie Jenner’s latest, soon-to-be-sell-out launch isn’t a lip kit, a highlighter palette, or anything beauty-related—although it’s the perfect accessory to complement the combination of said products: statement sunglasses.
The 19-year-old collaborated with Quay Australia on a capsule of summer eyewear that was pretty much made for Instagram: The four styles, which will be priced between $75 to $80, are highly photogenic, with their geometric lenses, oversize frames, and bright colors—whether you show them off in a flat lay or on a beachy #OOTD. Of course, if you need any pointers, the high-profile mastermind behind the collection is happy to demonstrate how to show them off.
“We’ve found the perfect collaborator in Kylie,” Linda Hammond, the brand’s founder, said in a statement. “Her social influence is unparalleled and she is known for her dynamic style and edge that her followers want to emulate.” Quay Australia isn’t exactly an Instagram novice, either: The label boasts a million followers on the platform, and is perhaps best known as the eyewear purveyor of choice for all your favorite influencers. Fans include Gigi Hadid, Amber Rose, and Khloé Kardashian, and the brand counts Shay Mitchell and Jasmine Sanders as past collaborators. With Jenner’s name in the mix, we wouldn’t be surprised if Quay Australia starts creeping up on your feed even more often than usual this summer.
Anyone diligently following Jenner’s style evolution knows she’s been wearing Quay Australia’s affordable, statement-making frames for years. In a press release for the collaboration, the personality noted her longstanding relationship with the brand as a motivator behind the pair-up. “I’m so excited to create my very own collection and share my love for the brand with my fans,” Jenner explained.
There are four silhouettes in Kylie Jenner x Quay Australia, available in a range of colors, for a total of 11 sunglasses in the capsule. The collaboration will be available for purchase starting on July 11, although we’d mark our calendars now: Knowing the rate at which Jenner sells out her namesake lip kits and merchandise, odds are these sunglasses won’t last long on shelves.
