Katy Perry brought the sunshine to Los Angeles’ Wango Tango music festival this weekend. The “Bon Appetit” singer shone—quite literally—on stage in an itty-bitty neon-yellow, sequined Adam Selman dress and body suit. That’s a lot of look!
Perry accessorized with pastel pink garter-leggings, elbow-length gloves and futuristic neon boots. Adding to the effect was a clear Zana Bayne belt that connected to a choker around her neck—sort of like a sci-fi dog harness.
To shield her eyes, the star used white rimmed sunglasses; and as not to clash with her look, she used a yellow microphone.
The singer, who is known for her sugar-inspired and candy-colored outfits, did not shy away from her favorite theme. She brought the pizzazz both on stage at Wango Tango and during the event’s red carpet. Before the show, Perry strutted her stuff for the paparazzi in another neon yellow look. This time the “Roar” singer wore a modest-looking micropleat dress in the same eye- catching yellow hue.
The long-sleeved Issey Miyake dress featured cool gray sections throughout.
Continuing to promote her new song with Migos entitled “Bon Appetit”, Perry shared a forkful of cherry pie with a KIIS FM presenter and seemed extra cautious not to spill on her brightly-colored ensemble while talking about her new record. “For me the whole record is this 360 degree liberation,” Perry said. “Mental liberation, sexual liberation, negative liberation, spiritual liberation.”
