We’ve come to know Jennifer Lopez as a music maker (still can’t get ‘Love Don’t Cost A Thing’ out of our heads, TBH), a style diva and mom to two beautiful babies. Along with all those glorious titles, Jenny from the block has got a new one and that’s as a beauty icon. Through the years, whether it was in her groundbreaking role as Selena Quintanilla, when she was the other half of ‘Bennifer’ or while giving us hits like ‘On The Floor’, one thing about Jennifer Lopez hasn’t changed and that’s her incredibly glowing beauty look. Long before highlighter became on fleek, this icon was rocking bronzed cheeks and luminescent skin. So it was only a matter of time until she released her own line of makeup. Finally, that’s come to fruition as she collaborates with Poland-origin cosmetics brand Inglot.
No product images are out yet but Jennifer’s makeup collection with Inglot will comprise of a whopping 70 piece collection including eyeshadows, lipsticks and eyelashes. The global diva has played a key role in bringing this line to life by creating and handpicking the shades. Some of the colours are even named rather aptly based on JLo’s distinctive style and music with titles like “Boogie Down Bronze” and “Livin’ The Highlight”. The standout feature of Lopez’s collaboration with Inglot will be the Freedom System Palette which allows beauty lovers to custom make their own palette with more than 300,000 mind-boggling combinations. Now just imagine the possibilities of that. Along with that, key products will be bronzer, highlighter, mascara and gloss to recreate Jenny’s glowing glam look.
Here’s what the star has to say about the makeup collaboration with Inglot – “The capsule collection we created with Inglot is filled with all my go-to products in my favorite colors. We have everything from mascara, lipsticks, eyelashes, blush, eye shadow and of course…bronzers. What I think is unique and exciting is our Freedom System Palette-which allows you to create your own personalized palette with the specific colors and products that you need. Now you no longer have to buy that 5-piece eyeshadow kit to get the one color you really want!”
The collection launches internationally on April 26 and in India, during the month of May so keep your eyes out, makeup lovers because this is one line you wouldn’t want to miss.
