HRD Antwerp is introducing a new diamond certificate at the Antwerp Diamond Pavilion of the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair. The launch is scheduled for September 14 at the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE).
Peter Macken, CEO of HRD Antwerp, will lead the launching ceremony, to be followed by a 3D presentation, according to the company.
HRD Antwerp is exhibiting at Hall 5 of the AWE. The company is also offering on-the-spot diamond certification and sealing services exclusively for professional buyers at the trade fair.
There will also be free demonstrations featuring the M-Screen, a superfast, automated melee-screening device that tests round brilliants from 1 point to 20 points for potential lab-grown diamonds, HPHT colour-enhanced diamonds and simulants at a top speed of 10,000 to 11,000 diamonds per hour, according to HRD Antwerp.
To serve the industry better, HRD Antwerp said it is upgrading the M-Screen to screen smaller diamonds of up to 200 stones per carat size and eventually, up to 400 stones per carat size, or diamonds of 0.25 point to 0.5 point.
