Hong Kong fine jeweller Goldiaq Creation Ltd has made a name for itself in the international coloured gemstone jewellery sector. Established in 1998, the company specialises in an eclectic range of fine and trendy jewellery in 14-karat and 18-karat yellow, white and pink gold, in innovative designs.
A wide array of coloured gemstones, most notably rubies, sapphires, emeralds, amethysts, Paraiba tourmalines, tanzanites and tsavorites, figures extensively in Goldiaq’s collections. The pieces are further accented with diamonds.
According to Bronia Yip, managing director of Goldiaq, the company is known for its classic designs – statement pieces with prominent centre stones, and diamond and other coloured gemstone embellishments.
“Contemporary pieces likewise abound in our collections, including cross-finger and joint rings,” noted Yip.
New frontier
The jewellery manufacturer is eyeing to tap greater opportunities in mainland China’s booming jewellery market, according to Yip. Citing the country’s vast population and the exponential growth of its middle-class spenders, mainland China is poised to become one of the most dynamic global jewellery markets, added the company official.
“Mainland Chinese buyers’ incomes have been steadily increasing, and more and more consumers are willing to spend on high-end items. This is where we come in since we sell fine jewellery whose value only increases over time,” remarked Yip.
