It is the must-have toy this Christmas – and the one parents are struggling to get their hands on.
If you’re still pinning your hopes on getting one in time for the big day then you might be in luck.
Some stores will soon be restocking them, but you’ll have to act fast to get your hands on one. And it will be ONE, as they are being rationed due to the high demand.
Toymaker Spin Master has confirmed it has ‘escalated production’ following ‘unprecedented demand’ since the toy launched on October 7, and says shoppers should start to see more stock in stores this month.
While some stores don’t give too much away when it comes to their restocks or what particular items will be included, due to their popularity retailers have revealed if and when they will be back on their shelves.
It’s no surprise the toy is proving popular due to its life like features.
Hatchimals are magical creatures that live inside eggs and are selling at around £59.99.
Kids are encouraged to love and care for theirs inside the egg. They will not hatch on their own, a touch encourages them to peck their way out.
Once hatched its eyes will light up as it makes cute sounds, telling them how it’s feeling.
Where will be restocking Hatchimals?
Smyths
The toy retailer is promising a limited restock between November 24 and December 1. Stock will be prioritised for customers who have pre-ordered.
Due to the demand on pre-orders Smyths has stopped taking them.
However it is not all bad news if you did not pre-order yours as any remaining Hatchimals will be available on a first come, first served basis.
The toy is limited to one per customer.
Argos
Argos have announced three re-stock dates of the Hatchimals.
The first is on November 19 when the Pengualas Pink Egg version will be re-stocked, while another batch of the Hatchimals Pengualas Teal Egg is expected on December 4.
Unfortunately, the Hatchimals Draggles Purple Egg will not be back in stock until Feb 20, 2017.
