More than 120 lots of fine jewellery by renowned brands are being offered at Christie’s Jewels Online sale. The sale commenced on May 5 and will conclude on May 12, according to the auction house.
Some of the fine pieces on offer include a diamond jewellery set created by Louis Cartier in 1924, consisting of a ring and a pair of earrings in the shape of interlocking bands set with round diamonds. The set has a pre-sale estimate of HK$50,000 to HK$80,000 (about US$6,500 to US$10,300). Another noteworthy item is a gold jewellery set composed of a bangle and earrings of tri-gold entwined triple-hoop design, valued at HKD$15,000 to HK$25,000 (about US$1,900 to US$3,200). The sale also features a diamond bangle comprising three interlocking bangles, one of which is set with diamonds, with a pre-sale valuation of HK$20,000 to HK$30,000 (about US$2,600 to US$3,900). Other highlights of the sale are jewellery pieces by brands such as Bulgari, Chanel, Van Cleef & Arpels and Louis Vuitton. With estimates starting from below HK$5,000 (about US$650), the auction provides new and established collectors access to fine collections of iconic jewellery brands.
