French fine jewellery house Chaumet is showcasing its nature-inspired pieces in Taiwan.
The touring exhibition, entitled “Promenade Bucolique,” is being held at a luxury mall in Taipei, and will later be moved to Chaumet’s two boutiques in the city, Udn.com reported.
The exhibition pays homage to the brand’s signature naturalism, with the venue decorated as a French country garden, it said.
Collections on display include “Abeille” (bee), which comprises pieces set with a wide variety of coloured gemstones, including an 11.87-carat opal brooch, a 23.42-carat cushion-cut imperial topaz necklace, a pair of yellow sapphire and péridot earrings, and a “Bee My Love” diamond and sapphire necklace priced at US$ 640,000.
Other highlights include a diamond, sapphire and white chalcedony brooch from the “Hortensia” collection, and a white gold brooch from the “Hirondelle” (swallow) collection, set with diamonds, black jade and a pear-shaped sapphire.
