Auverture held its first trunk show in TriBeCa, where Bibi van der Veleden showcased her new galaxy collection of topaz stones inlaid into mother-of-pearl. Most noteworthy was the galaxy ring, filled with colored diamonds set around a large topaz. Auverture is a site that allows buyers to see videos, pictures and interviews with the designers to learn more about its collection, to give consumers a sense of how precious the jewelry is.
