Singaporean fine jewellery brand Luvenus Jewellery recently opened its first overseas outlet at the Hong Kong International Airport as the company expands its reach in Asia, mainland China in particular.

Launched in 2012, Luvenus specialises in 22-karat and 24-karat gold jewellery in contemporary designs. It also carries a collection of laboratory-certified diamond jewellery, said Parthiban Murugaiyan, managing director of Luvenus.

Luvenus has made a name for itself in the fine jewellery sector for its top-quality products and customer service.

“Hong Kong is a major tourist and business travel destination for both mainland Chinese and international visitors. Having a retail outlet at the Hong Kong International Airport is part of our strategic plan for expansion into the mainland,” Murugaiyan was quoted as saying in a report on 7thspace.com. “We will be using Hong Kong as our regional base from which to grow our business and better serve the needs of our customers.”

Luvenus Jewellery said it is looking at further expanding its presence in Hong Kong.

Jimmy Chiang, associate director-general of Investment Promotion of Hong Kong, commented, “The Hong Kong International Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports in terms of international passenger traffic. It is an excellent showcase for retailers. I wish Luvenus Jewellery every success in our city and look forward to its continued expansion.”
